Hi Marian! Welcome to planDisney!
In my opinion, food and Disney are a match made in heaven! My husband and I were just drooling over the pictures of some snacks we hope to try on our next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. There are so many delicious spots to grab a bite to eat!
In
Magic Kingdom Park, a top Quick-Service dining location in my book is
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. It is a nice break away from the typical burgers and pizza that you find as standard theme park food. The Beef Nachos are some of my favorite nachos that are found anywhere! They're so good that my husband also ordered them for himself on our last visit and we already have them as a must-have for our next trip. There are also some toddler-friendly foods like macaroni & cheese and the Chicken Rice Bowl. You can even get an Uncrustables sandwich with tortilla chips or a mandarin orange.
My second choice for lunch at Magic Kingdom Park is currently
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café. Here, you can grab a few of my favorite items that were previously spread throughout the theme park before it reopened last summer: the Chili-Cheese All-Beef Foot-Long Hot Dog and the
Cheshire Café Cat Tail. There is a variety of different food items available here for all different tastes whether you are looking for a burger, hot dog, chicken dish, or salad. Plus, kids are covered with chicken strips, macaroni & cheese, and Uncrustables.
Make sure to have the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone and ready to go. Currently, mobile food & beverage ordering is how all Guests place and pay for their orders at most Quick-Service dining locations. You can also use it to browse the menus before you arrive so you know exactly where you want to dine. Well, now I'm hungry!
I hope this helps, Marian! Please let us know if you have any other last-minute planning questions.
