Hi, I'm looking to go to WDW end of May How are the crowds generally at this time? Also what season is this considered resort wise? i.e value, regular What are some other good times of the year to go limited to march-may?

Any day I am at Walt Disney World is a fantastic day, Jeff! But since I cannot be there as often as I would like, I do try to make the most out of my time and visit when it is not terribly crowded. My family visited Walt Disney World the last week of May last year. During the beginning of the week the crowds were not bad, but as the week went on and schools started letting out for Summer – you could tell the crowd volume was slowly increasing. I do try to avoid planning my Walt Disney World vacations in March and April, as many schools have Spring Break during that time. If you are limited to March-May, I would suggest early to mid May for your trip. The weather is typically warm but not too hot, and the crowd volume is fairly low. A resource I find helpful when planning dates for my family's arrival are the crowd calendars at

Come back any time, Jeff! Have a magical day!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
