Hello there Lisa,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! This is the perfect time to start planning your trip to the Disneyland Resort in October!
My suggestion would be to visit the
Disneyland Resort website and use the "Build Your Vacation" tool near the top of the screen. You can enter the dates of your trip, members of your party, and note which hotels you'd like to see prices for and it will conveniently walk you through all the steps to building out your upcoming trip including
reserving your hotel and
purchasing your theme park tickets.
Currently, to visit the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both theme park tickets and
theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit. While you'll book your hotel stay and purchase your theme park tickets through the Build Your Vacation tool I mentioned above, you'll still need to wait a few more weeks to book your theme park reservations. They're currently available to book about six months out from the current date, so as you can see on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, they only run through September 21 of this year - as of the time that I'm answering your question.
My suggestion would be to wait a few more weeks until the dates of your trip open up to book your theme park reservations and then use the
My Plans hub to make them. The My Plans page is a really convenient place to make and manage all the different reservations for your trip that you might want - including dining and enchanting extras.
Additionally, you'll be visiting during the
Halloween season! This is one of my favorite times of year to visit - you're in for a treat! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to the dates of your visit to see more info about all the fun extras you'll get to experience during your trip.
Thanks again for your question, Lisa! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
