Season's greetings, Mike! It's always nice to have a fellow admirer of Christmas send a yuletide question to planDisney! There is no better place to celebrate the most magical time of the year than at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party brings the joy of the season to Magic Kingdom Park as only Mickey and Minnie can do! Unfortunately, last year's party had to be cancelled due to the need for physical distancing requirements. Like you, those of us at planDisney are hoping to see Mickey return to his hosting duties for this celebration in 2021!
In previous years, tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have gone on sale in April. If the past can be a guide to the future, Mickey and Minnie usually kick-off the party season around November 7 or 8. They then hold parties on select nights throughout November and December! This is all subject to change so keep a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog or the
Walt Disney World Resort website. These are the best two sources of information for the most up-to-date information!
Even in the absence of last year's party, Mickey and Minnie did a great job welcoming Guests during the holiday season! In 2021, the holiday season got started during the first week of November! Christmas trees and decorations could be found throughout the Disney Parks and resort hotels. A festive projection show brought Cinderella Castle to life, while some of our favorite Disney Characters could be spotted wearing their holiday-finest! Minnie and Santa Goofy even also hosted a seasonal character dining experience at Hollywood and Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios! And, of course, St. Nick paid a visit to all four Disney Parks and Disney Springs!
Mike, it's never too soon to start your Christmas (or Disney vacation) countdown!
