Hi Greg,
I can understand why you are looking forward to your cruise! What a positively magical itinerary on a wonderful ship. Spending 11 nights on the
Disney Dream in Northern Europe sounds like, well, a dream! The Disney Dream was the first Disney ship that my family and I cruised on, so we have a special place in our hearts for her. She is a beautiful ship with so much to do!
On top of your wonderful itinerary, you are on one of the
Silver Anniversary at Sea sailings. These will include extra magic on top of the usual Disney Cruise Line magic. They will include special desserts and cocktails, and the characters will have lovely shimmery costumes. What fun!
I
called Disney Cruise Line to inquire about special nights on your sailing. While most nights will be cruise casual, there is both a
semi-formal night and a formal night planned. Dressing up for these nights is optional; however, I do find it to be fun to dress a little fancier and take advantage of the photographers and their more formal backdrops on these evenings. You may want to call Disney Cruise Line back closer to your sail date to ask when these evenings are still planned as these are always subject to change. The best way to confirm which night is which is once you are onboard, log into your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. It will have the most up-to-date information about the dress and theme for each evening of your sailing.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Greg! Please feel free to sail on back to planDisney with any further questions you may have.
