I'm looking at doing the Jungle Jingle 5K. Looking at the website it appears there isn't transportation to Animal Kingdom from Art of Animation. Do you know if that will change or how difficult will it be to get to another resort to catch those shuttles?

Hi Josh!  You are right that the Art of Animation Resort is not a host resort for Wine and Dine half marathon weekend.  This means that there won't be buses running to and from there to all of the race events.

Your options would be to get yourself to another resort, which may be fairly difficult early in the morning for a race, or to arrange for a cab (assuming you don't have your own car available).  I have stayed in non-host resorts before and taken a cab to all events.  It isn't difficult and since it is all so close, it is not a big investment.  You can arrange for one to be there for you at your resort's front desk.  Be sure and give your cab driver any road closures for race day (also available at the resort desk).  For the 5K, it will be very minimal, if at all.

You could always change your reservation to one of the host resorts, but I think staying at the new Art of Animation Resort will be worth the extra effort it will take!

Please let me know if you have any other questions about your upcoming race!
