    I'm looking into a Disney World trip this summer and I've been hearing about a magical dessert called a Zebra Dome! Wondering if there is anywhere in the parks to get them or if they are only available at AK Lodge?

    Jambo! Martha and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m thrilled to see a fellow foodie visiting us here today. It seems that both you and I like to enjoy specific snacks while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I will be happy to help you find yours!

    The Zebra Domes you are searching for are located at ,The Mara, which is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The good news is, you don’t have to be a Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Guest to enjoy dining there! A quick visit to this resort is all you need to do to enjoy this delicious dessert.

    My family usually plans a “break day” in the middle of our trip where we spend the day “resort hopping”. We always try to visit a different Disney Resort Hotel each time, but you can’t keep us away from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter. We always visit New Orleans’s historic French Quarter just to dine at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. No trip is complete until we are sitting down and enjoying a warm Mickey-shaped Beignet. 

    If the Zebra Domes are on your “must-try” list, I recommend making your way to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Even if you don’t have a whole day to designate to visiting the resorts like we do, drop in for lunch! On the day you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, simply board the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for lunch and take the same bus back to the park! It’s a great way to cool down and refuel before going back to enjoy the beautiful land of Pandora-The World of Avatar.
