I'm looking at Disney World resorts with water slides at their pool. My question is, can you tell me the height requirements for all the slides at the moderate and deluxe hotels. This would greatly help with my decision. My son is about 42" tall. Tha

Hi Dana! I am so happy to help with your Disney vacation planning here at the Moms Panel!

My 4-year old little princess absolutely loves playing in the Disney Resort pools and the uniquely themed water slides are her favorite part!  At 42" inches, your son is tall enough to enjoy the water slides... intact, there is no height restriction, the policy just states, that children must be able to comfortably go down the slide unaccompanied...no piggy-backing!

My daughter has just reached the 42" inch mark and she has been enjoying the water slides at Disney World for quite some time!  Since she is not yet the most comfortable swimmer, my husband and I have developed a method:  We always make sure she's wearing swimmies or a life jacket and then one of us accompanies her up the stairs to the slide to help her "load" while the other waits below to catch her when she splashes into the pool!

Thanks for the question, and please write back to let me know if I can be of further assistance!  I just love sprinkling Pixie Dust on Disney vacations!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
