Welcome to planDisney, Matthew.
"If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest!" You can't go wrong with a Disney restaurant. There are so many
fantastic places to choose from. I recently enjoyed a wonderful meal with my planDisney friends at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. Ever since that magical evening, I've craved those Thigh High Chicken Biscuits and Church Lady Deviled Eggs. Mmmmmm, now I'm all rumbly in my tumbly!
Since the restaurants at Walt Disney World are so popular, it's important that you make your reservations as soon as possible. If you're staying off-site, then you can make dining reservations through your
My Disney Experience account up to 60 days in advance of your trip. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel get the added benefit of being able to make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days).
If you want the best chance of getting a table at the restaurant you set your heart on, here's what I suggest you do: Decide beforehand what restaurant you'd like to eat at and when. You might even want to have some backup options, just in case. Make sure that your credit card information is accurate and up-to-date on your My Disney Experience account. 60 days before the date you'd like a table, at 11:00 a.m. (GMT), you can book your restaurant.
Matthew, did you know that the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is happening when you arrive? If you're hoping to enjoy some
delectable food and delicious drinks, then venture around World Showcase and treat your taste buds at some of the wonderful outdoor kitchens.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Matthew. As we say in Liverpool, "Have a boss holiday!"
Mike
