Ahoy Thao –
We are happy to “sea” you with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and there is nothing dearer to my heart than the Disney Wonder sailing out of Galveston. As a native Texan, this cruise is basically an annual event for my crew, and we have made so many fabulous family memories with Disney Cruise Line
, that this is the vacation destination for us. In fact, we are anticipating this year’s Thanksgiving cruise on the newly reimagined Wonder to enjoy an updated
Oceaneer Club, Tiana’s Place (a new restaurant) as well as a new pub for adults. As far as the rules for the Oceaneer Club, your pirate fairy princess will have to be 3 years old in order to checked-in for secure play. If you desire for your pirate prince and princess to play together in the Oceaneer Club, it will need to be during Open House playtimes when the club is open for all ages as long as a pirate parent can be present to watch over them. When you need secured childcare options for your pirate fairy, you can use the
Nursery, which is for pirate children ages 6 months to 3 years old. Experiencing the Wonder is an amazing event, and if you feel strongly that both children should be together at all times, then it is definitely worth waiting the extra week for your princess to turn 3 years old. For my family, however, on the Wonder we enjoy our time together and apart. I had the same worries initially about my pirate cubs, and they were able to spend time both playing together and also apart making new friends. Thao, I hope you are able to plan the vacation of a lifetime with Disney Cruise Line, and please come back to visit with us if you need further assistance.
