Hi Maria,
Welcome to planDisney!
Unfortunately, we no longer mail DVD's. There are, however, a host of digital resources that might be helpful. If you have not already followed it, follow the
Disney Parks Blog. It includes articles and videos that can help you plan your vacation. You can also view the Disney Parks YouTube channel to see an extensive collection of videos that will help you as you plan.
Luckily, we are here to help! As you try to plan in a way that makes your trip easier and more enjoyable, I will offer a few tips. First, book a
vacation package that includes a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and
theme park tickets. Once you book that vacation package, make sure it is linked in your
My Disney Experience account. To
link it, you will need the confirmation number - this number should be emailed to you.
Once your vacation package is linked, you should be able to log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, and scroll down to see your reservation details. From there, you should see a link to make a payment. You can use that link to make payments on your vacation package over time. Just be sure to pay it off by the balance due date.
After linking your vacation package, you need to make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Once you confirm those, they should automatically link in your My Disney Experience account, so be sure to double-check your account after you make them. Since you are visiting during
The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, I advise you to book your vacation package as soon as possible and make those park pass reservations. And, if you decide to change parks, check the
theme park reservation availability calendar before canceling park pass reservations and trying to make new ones.
Maria, I hope this helps you get started! I will say that as we decide which resort hotels to book, we love searching for resort videos on YouTube. There are videos that will show you what the rooms look like and we have found those helpful. I also search for resort hotel maps online so that we can determine which buildings are closest to the main building and main pool of a given resort hotel. Also, when our girls were younger, we checked out Walt Disney World travel guides from our local library.
Happy Planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
