I’m looking to buy two imagine key passes for my girlfriend and I. I am a Southern California resident but she is a uk citizen staying with me intermittently on an Esta. Can I still purchase this magic key for her? Even with no proof of so cal residence?

    Hey there, Noah!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your excellent question! I’m excited you’re interested in purchasing a Disneyland Resort Magic Key for yourself and your girlfriend! There’s so much to see and do at “The Happiest Place on Earth!”, you’ll certainly want to visit all yEAR long!

The Imagine Key does require proof of Southern California residency. So, you and your girlfriend will be asked to present a photo ID at the Disneyland Resort theme park turnstiles the first time you use your Magic Key. If her ID does not reflect her current address, you’ll want to purchase a different level Magic Key for her. The Enchant Key may be the perfect solution. It does not have a residency requirement and is available for all Guests. She’ll still enjoy similar benefits to the Imagine Key like 10% off select merchandise and dining. Plus, all Magic Keyholders have access to exclusive merchandise and dining at Magic Key Terrace

I hope this helps! Enjoy your yEAR of magic at the Disneyland Resort!
