Bonjour Alison!
It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! It’s fabulous news that your extended family has a Disney cruise planned for next year. So wonderful to have you onboard as we proudly present...your answer.
What could be more fun than having adventures on the high seas, followed by delicious meals together in the evenings? Some of my most precious memories from sailing with Captain Mickey have come from mealtimes as we would all come together at dinner and share our best stories from the day’s activities.
Since you will have different stateroom reservations, the key to sitting together at dinner is to
link all your reservations together. This process is straightforward and can be done online under My Reservations. Another way to accomplish this is to
contact Disney Cruise Line or your Travel Agent to request your dinner seating time (Main Seating or Second Seating) and that you all be seated together in the rotational dining rooms.
Naturally, Lumiere and his dining staff will do their best to accommodate requests in the dining room and to seat families as one group as they proudly present your dinner! Depending on the number of Guests in your family, you may have multiple tables, but they can make it possible that all the tables are close together.
Here’s a planDisney tip: the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app gives a sneak peek at the dining room menus. So “go on, unfold your menu, take a glance” and then you'll be ready to place your dinner order before you are even seated! Let me just tell you, some of the best food you’ll ever eat is served on Disney Cruise Line. My mouth is watering at the thought of dishes like the Grand Marnier soufflé and Chateaubriand-Roasted Filet Steak!
“Be our guest” again at planDisney as you continue to get prepared for your voyage.
Au Revoir!
