I'm looking into booking the Port Orleans Riverside hotel. I understand it is a large resort, can you offer advice on the best room type and which building to stay in to be close to amenities and the bus stop? Thanks

    Hello, dear Helen!

Thanks for visiting our planDisney family!

First, let me compliment you on your excellent Disney Resort hotel choice: the whimsical Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of my favorite places at the Walt Disney World Resort.  I'm thrilled that you're staying there!

This Disney Resort hotel offers many different room options, and the best one for your family will depend on the size of your group. In my opinion, the best rooms for four Guests are the Royal Guest Rooms. Princess Tiana decorated them, and she thought of every detail to make your stay unique, so I'd highly consider them if you're bringing little Guests with you!

Building 90 is the ideal location for the Royal Guest Rooms, and it will put you close to the lobby, the boat dock, and the bus transportation. Not bad, right?

If you're coming in a party of five, then building 14 at Alligator Bayou is the best choice. A River View room there is a fantastic choice, and I bet that you'll have a wonderful time there!

I hope that these tips inspire you to find the ideal room at this fantastic location. As you take more steps in planning this wonderful trip, please don't hesitate to come back to our planDisney website.

We're here to assist you in every step of the way, and it would be an honor to help you make all your dreams come true at the Walt Disney World Resort

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
