I’m looking at booking Disneyland Paradise Pier from 17th June 23 for 5 nights. I’ve read reviews that renovations are taking place. Can you please confirm if the hotel pool will be open during these dates and if there will be any restaurants at the hotel?

    Hiya, Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!

Oh Boy! I love that you have almost a whole yEAR to look forward to your most magical vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth! You've hEARd correctly that Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel will be undergoing a reimagining to become the Pixar Place Hotel. I've been following along with the announcements from the Disney Parks Blog as well as the most recent D23 Expo, and it sounds like there is a lot of great stuff coming as part of this refresh!

Mickey sometimes likes to keep his secrets, so we don't exactly know what will be changing or when. But! I can say that based on previous pool work, if the aquatic deck is closed during your visit, you'll be allowed to swim at a neighboring Disneyland Resort Hotel. (The Paradise Pier Hotel pool was resurfaced EARlier this yEAR and during that time Guests were welcomed to the pools at the Disneyland Hotel. There was even complimentary chauffeured golf cart transportation between the two properties!)

At the current time, there aren't any sit-down or quick-service dining options are this hotel. There is, however, a grab-and-go style mini-mart with all kinds of snacks, desserts, and beverages, both hot and cold. There are even refrigerated cases with fresh options like sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, and salads, and frozen treats like ice cream. I'm hoping that one of the planned reimagined dining spaces opens between now and your planned visit, Lauren; however, if they are still under wraps you're also more than welcome to dine at any of the locations at both the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

I'm so sorry that this answer didn't completely clEAR up your question, Lauren, but you're more than welcome to reach back out to us early next yEAR to check if we know anything new.
