Hi, Im looking at booking a cruise but I would be travelling with my friend who is a very picky eater. My friend tends to like fast food, pasta with simple sauces (basic everyday food). The menus seem pretty fancy for him so are there any alternatives?

    Hi Nicole,

I'm a picky eater too, which is why I LOVE dining aboard the Disney Cruise ships!  Since the food is included with the cruise, I always use it as my opportunity to venture out and try something different.  I've got nothing to lose price-wise, and I've got the hearty staples available as backup should I not enjoy the cuisine I chose.  The dining servers are wonderful about making sure you have something you will enjoy.  If that happens to be plain pasta, or the beef without any fancy sauces, they can offer that to you.  On my last voyage, my daughter really wanted a grilled cheese at dinner.  It wasn't offered on the menu that evening, but they brought her one anyhow and it made her evening.

In the off chance your friend leaves the dining room hungry, there are always quick service options available as well (burgers, pizza, sandwiches etc).  Your Personal Navigator will list all of the operating hours of the counter service restaurants.

    I hope this helps!
