Welcome back to planDisney, friend!
Sandy, you're going to LOVE dining at
Akershus for breakfast! It truly lives up to its name: Royal Banquet Hall! I really enjoy the Potato Casserole and the Norwegian Waffles they have there -- so enjoy and extra helping for me!
When EPCOT has those early entry hours at 8am for guests of Disney Resorts, they typically start letting these guests in as early as 8am. Sandy, I'm happy to let you know that even if you are not staying at a qualifying hotel for early entry hours, the Cast Members will let you in prior to the official "rope drop" for standard guests. Please note though that you will not be able to get on any attractions until EPCOT officially opens if you are not staying at a Disney Hotel. All you're going to need to do is let the Cast Members at the front know that you have a dining reservation. They'll scan your ticket to confirm and then you'll have plenty of time to get into Norway to check in for your breakfast reservation! Sometimes there is a marked location for guests with dining reservations to scan in (typically there are Cast Members standing around with tablets that can help you as well).
If you find yourself with a snack-sized hole in your tummy later in the day, make your way BACK to Norway! The School Bread at
Kringla Bakeri is legendary for a reason and always serves as a fabulous mid-day pick-me-up!
If you have additional questions, Sandy, we love hearing from you at planDisney! Have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
