I'm looking to book a trip for the International Festival of the Arts for Jan 2023. I'm not seeing any details for festival dates and resort/park bookings. Do you have any est. time of when these would be posted?

Hi Vicky! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to be able to help a fellow New Yorker plan a fabulous Walt Disney World Vacation, so let’s get started!

I’m so excited to hear you’re looking to visit during the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! It’s one of my absolute favorite festivals and really is a treat for ALL the senses. With musical performances, gorgeous art galleries and delicious culinary creations that are also a feast for the eyes, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy.

While 2023 festival dates have not yet been announced, the festival began mid-January and ended mid to late February in previous years. So, to be safe, I would recommend visiting Walt Disney World toward the end of January to hopefully catch the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. You’ll definitely want to keep a close eye on Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on the festival, including the announcement of official dates for 2023.

Now, the vacation packages for 2023 have not yet been released. But worry not, Vicky! You can still get started on planning your fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation! First, you can book a hotel-only reservation at one of the fabulous Disney Resorts Collection hotels up to 499 days in advance. Then, once the vacation packages are released, you can simply call to upgrade your room-only reservation to include your theme park tickets, Disney Genie+ service, and more! While there is no official release date for those 2023 packages, I have often seen them drop in the summer for the following year. So, I'd recommend checking in on the Walt Disney World Resort website periodically to see if they have been released.

To book your room-only reservation, simply reach out to the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team at (407) 939-1936 for pricing, availability, and to secure your room. Availability can be limited, so I recommend reserving your room as soon as possible. This way, you have your preferred hotel locked in, and when vacation packages are released, you can simply upgrade to a package without worrying about availability.

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! If you have any other questions as you wrap up the planning of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please stop back over to planDisney! We would love to help you make the absolute most of your vacation!

    Happy planning!
