I’m looking to book a trip for my daughter and I in April of 2019. Is now a good time to book or should I wait? Not sure if they will come out with any package deals as I’m only seeing holiday deals now.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!

It's always a special treat to answer questions for fellow residents of the Garden State. As I drive around central New Jersey I find myself amazed by the number of Annual Pass magnets I see on the cars around me. It's fun to think that so many of my neighbors are Disney fans. I'm glad you stopped by with your question.

Because it is so easy to modify existing reservations at Walt Disney World Resort, I suggest you go ahead and book your trip for next April now. Then, if a special offer is released later that matches your travel dates, you can simply call to modify your reservation. I recommend this particularly if there's a specific Walt Disney World Resort hotel where you'd like to stay. If you wait until special offers for April are released, you may find that your preferred accommodations are not available. That has happened to me in the past but I have learned my lesson and now book as soon as I have determined the specific dates I wish to travel.

So, what are your plans for April? Are you looking forward to "playing big" in Andy's backyard at Toy Story Land. Or are you headed to Pandora - The World of Avatar to ride atop a banshee? Be sure to stop by Epcot to enjoy the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. There is no prettier time of year to visit Epcot.

Wishing you many magical memories with your daughter,
    Jill
