Welcome to planDisney, where no question is too silly! And even if it was, we'd still answer it!
When you book a vacation package (
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation and
theme park tickets booked together) on the
Walt Disney World Resort website, all Guests staying in the room must have the same ticket type (and
dining plan if selected). As such, yes, if you are booking the package for 2 adults, you are booking two sets of tickets!
Now I have to ask: have you ever taken an adults-only vacation to the resort? While I've gone a few times with my niece and nephew, this is how I mostly travel to the resort. Whether it's just my husband and I, a friend trip, or a combination, we always have a blast! There is just so much to do for every age group at the resort. And while a lot of people talk about eating and drinking around the World Showcase in
EPCOT, there's also something to be said for embracing your inner child and enjoying whatever your heart feels like in the moment!
When I go, I want to scream my head off on
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. I want to get soaked on
Tiana's Bayou Adventure while saying hello to
Princess Tiana, one of my favorite princesses (
opening June 28, 2024). I want to sing along to
"it's a small world" and have it stuck in my head for the rest of the day. I want to stuff my face with the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at
Sleepy Hollow. I want to feel all the feels while watching
Happily Ever After in front of
Cinderella Castle at
Magic Kingdom Park, not caring if my eyes start to leak. And yeah, I want to indulge around the World Showcase too because any day at EPCOT is a great day!
Cassandra, I hope you and your companion have the absolute best time doing whatever it is you want to do at the resort. If you have any other questions leading up to your trip,
I'm more than happy to help you. Silly or not-so-silly questions welcome!
Most everyone's mad here,
Matt
