Hi there, Im looking to book the Grand Californian or Disneyland Hotel for 5 nights on the 17th April 2023. When can I start looking to book as the calendar only shows up to December. Thanks for your help

Greetings, Peter and a warm welcome back to planDisney, we thank you for your loyalty!

How wonderful it is, that you are planning a return visit to Disneyland Resort with a stay at one of the two most magnificent Disneyland Resort hotels - tough but definitely exciting choices ahead for you Peter! In perusing the current booking availability for Disneyland Resort hotel Guest Rooms only or vacation packages (hotel and theme park admission) they are available through to the end of the year. Therefore, in following this typical pattern of Guest Room and vacation package releases, I believe your intended date of visit for booking would open anywhere from 4 to 6 months in advance. I am partial to booking the inclusive Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages to have all my planning and logistics in one place where I can manage my plans through my Disney account by accessing the My Disneyland planning area - I feel it's much easier to keep track of my tidy package this way.

    Please Note:
Upon booking your Disneyland Resort hotel Guest Room or vacation package, kindly proceed to link the reservation confirmation number to your Disney account. In managing a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, upon linking the reservation confirmation number in the My Hotel Reservations area via the My Disneyland planning area, you will then be able to secure your Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations using the valid theme park admission which is part of your vacation package. Furthermore, by linking your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package to your Disney account, you will also enable the electronic delivery of your Travel ePackage (itinerary, theme park ticket ID numbers/barcodes, Magical Extras voucher) to your Disney account four days before your arrival. Peter, you will be able to access your Travel ePackage to print from your Disney account online, or via the Disneyland Mobile App. I recommend printing all documentation to have on hand to be on the safe side.

If you are booking your Disneyland Resort hotel Guest Room and purchasing your theme park tickets separately, kindly proceed with your Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservations straightaway using your linked valid theme park admission.

    Tips:
Upon entry into a Disneyland Resort theme park, using the Disneyland Mobile App consider saving time waiting in lines for attractions that offer a Lightning Lane entrance by opting into the Disney Genie+ service. If you purchase the Disney Genie+ service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass attraction photos including the fun Magic Shots from your day.

Enjoy the contactless convenience of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering using the Disneyland Mobile App during your visit with the vast array of Disneyland Resort Quick-Service venues for mobile orders.

What a pleasure it was assisting you Peter! Keep in touch with all the updates and news via the official Disney Parks Blog, and have a look at the delightful and informative planDisney Podcast available monthly.
