Hi Michele!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for asking us hEAR this great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question. I'm happy to be your planEAR today!
This is a great question because it depends on which way you're thinking of booking your Disneyland Resort Vacation. There are Vacation Packages that include both your theme park admission tickets as well as a hotel room, and even better is that there are official
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages as well as
Disney Good Neighbor Hotel Packages, also offered through Disney. What I like about booking a vacation package is that the cancelation policy covers both the room as well as the tickets, whereas when you book separately the tickets are non-refundable.
Room-Only reservations at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel or a
Disney Good Neighbor Hotel do
not include
Disneyland Theme Park Admission Tickets. However, purchasing each on their own might make sense if you're able to get discounted theme park admission tickets as an employee perk through your job or if you have status or a lot of points with a global hotel chain.
Bonus Tip: Double check any associations or memberships you have to see if they offer any Disney discounts, like through AAA or Costco. With these third-party purchases, you'll link them to your
My Disneyland Account or in your
Disneyland Mobile App and book your
Park Pass Reservations once all of your Disney days are within the 120 booking window.
I hope this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Michele! Be sure to follow the
