Leah, I’m happy you sailed by with your question!
Are you dreaming of a Disney Cruise in the distant future? I am, too! I’m always so excited for new itineraries to be released. While it appears that only Captain Minnie knows the exact date for the release of new schedules, they are usually announced three times a year. In the past, this has been in the spring, summer, and late fall. As you can see, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when we’ll hear the news.
The
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disney Cruise Line website will be the first to report on the new itineraries and the early booking dates. Castaway Club Members receive early access to book their cruises, followed by first-time cruisers a few days later. I encourage you to book early to receive the best price and your choice of stateroom location.
For a large group, it is sometimes easier to work with an experienced travel planner. You can contact
Disney Cruise Line or someone local. They will be able to help your group secure staterooms next to each other and link your reservations for dinner, so you are all seated together. A travel planner helps remove the stress of planning your vacation so you can concentrate on all the fun instead!
Whether your compass points you on a cruise
close to home or you wish to sail to
far-off places looking for adventure, I know you’ll have a fantastic time with your family, no matter your destination. The Disney Cruise Line website has a
free e-Brochure you can download and read all about the five ships and where they are currently sailing. This will give you some ideas for when it’s time to book your Disney Cruise.
If we can be of any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask! We are always delighted to help families plan the vacation of their dreams.
SEAS the adventure!
