Hello, Pamela and welcome to
planDisney.
Disneyland Resort nighttime spectaculars await your arrival, and the beloved
Main Street Electrical Parade is back for its 50th anniversary and will once again light up the parade route with twinkling and sparkling lights to delight one and all.
Pamela, you are welcome to book any of the two Disneyland Resort theme parks, and then refer to the
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar periodically to see if your desired date for visiting Disney California Adventure Park opens up, as some Guests do change their plans and cancel. There is no fee to cancel your
Theme Park Reservation, it’s all pending availability, and simply the measure in place at this time for visiting the theme parks.
Another idea would be to add the
Park Hopper Option to your theme park tickets. The way Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservations work with park hopper tickets is that Guests must visit their first reserved theme park and then at 1:00 PM they can visit the second theme park and then go between both theme parks until park closing, pending availability.
During your Disneyland Resort theme park ticket purchase you will be presented with the option to buy the
Disney Genie+ service. I recommend this service as it will save you time waiting for lines by enabling you to select an arrival window for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance. You are also welcome to opt into the Disney Genie+ service using the
Disneyland Mobile App upon entry into your first reserved Disneyland Resort theme park – it would expedite and facilitate app transactions to update your payment method in the Disneyland Mobile App in advance of your arrival by accessing the
Payment Method from
My Profile.
Tip:
By purchasing the Disney Genie+ service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of
Disney’s PhotoPass® Service attraction photos including
Magic Shots from your day.
I hope this helps you out, Pamela, best Disney wishes from a fellow Canadian Disney fan!
