I'm looking at becoming a DVC member but stuck on what's the best choice for us. We're a family of 5 would travel every 2 years. I would like a 1bed villa where am I best making home. My boys atm are 7 11 and 15

Greetings, Danielle and from one "boy-mom" to another, welcome to planDisney!

As a Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm thrilled to chat with you about becoming a Member of this special club! Danielle, since you are purchasing a real estate interest, selecting your perfect "home resort" is certainly one of the most important decisions so let's talk through your options.

Danielle, because your home resort offers you booking priority at 11 months prior to check-in, I think finding a resort that offers a good fit for your family to be key. While I have stayed in the Deluxe Studio rooms and find them quite comfortable, I absolutely love the 1-Bedroom Villa options with the full kitchen, in-room washer and dryer and more space to spread out. Since you have a family of five, I would encourage you to check out the following resorts that sleep 5 guests in a 1-Bedroom Villa.

Located at the Walt Disney World Resort:
       - Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort
       - Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Jambo House
       - Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village
       - Disney's Old Key West Resort
       - Disney's Riviera Resort
       - The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Danielle, if a resort is not included on the list above it is because some 1-Bedroom Villas sleep 4 guests, while others may accommodate a 5th guest but with no designated sleeping space or bedding. Those listed above comfortably sleep 5 guests in the 1-Bedroom Villa.

As a Disney Vacation Club Member, my family has stayed at almost all of the resorts on this list and I can promise there is no wrong choice, only different experiences. If you're hoping to purchase directly through Disney Vacation Club and would like the longest length of contract, Disney's Riviera Resort is a wonderful option. With access to the Disney Skyliner and amazing on-site dining options, this resort has quickly risen to the top of our favorites list!

Danielle, I hope this has given you some options to consider and when you have more questions, please come on back to planDisney.

Wishing you a lifetime of Magical vacations and the best of luck in all of your decisions,
    Lauren
