I’m looking for availability at the campground. I have no restriction on my dates of travel. When trying to make a reservation nothing is available even though I’ve changed the dates of arrival and departure numerous times. Is there a calendar?

    Hi Karen,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by to ask your vacation planning question. Here at planDisney, we’re a group of Guests, just like you, who’ve been where you are and are here to help you navigate every step of the planning process. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, we’re honored to help make your Walt Disney World Resort stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Let’s talk about The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! This one-of-a-kind destination combines the beauty of the great outdoors with the immersive theming and top-tier service Disney is known for. Whether bringing your RV or pitching a tent under the stars, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush woodlands, fun recreational activities, and convenient access to the theme parks via watercraft and internal bus transportation. It’s a guest favorite for a reason, offering peace and quiet, pony rides, archery, and evening campfires with Chip and Dale!

I did a little digging and successfully viewed availability for three random sets of dates throughout 2025 and 2026. That tells me the site is working correctly on the backend, so my gut is saying says may be with your internet browser settings. A quick tech tune-up usually does the trick: I recommend clearing your browser’s cookies and cache, or even restarting your device before trying again.

Once that’s done, follow these steps to check for availability:

    1. Head over to The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
    2. Click the “Change” button to update your desired travel dates and party size.
    3. Make sure the correct filter is selected (like “Room Only” or “Room and Theme Park Tickets”).
    4. Hit Search, and you should see the available campsite options, just like I did!

Still not seeing what you’re looking for? Hakuna Matata! You can always reach out directly to a friendly Cast Member by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line. Just visit the Disney Help Center and they’ll walk you through everything. Having a few flexible date options in mind will help the process move faster than a rocket on Space Mountain.

As you continue planning, don’t forget that you can now book Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences before your arrival. This handy option lets you secure times for your favorite rides in advance, perfect for thrill-seekers or those wanting to breeze through the day. If you’re looking for a delicious meal after your park adventures, consider making advance dining reservations at Guest favorites like The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs or ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Feel free to stop by again with more questions as you plan your stay. Whether it’s campground tips, dining ideas, or Disney Genie know-how, I’m happy to help you make the most of it all!

    See you real soon!
