Bright Suns, Michele,
Thanks for coming by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Disneyland Resort is a wonderful place to visit with your son. I hope your visit is as magical as you dream.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is so much fun for guests of all ages. My young daughter enjoyed helping her mother build an astromech droid unit at
Droid Depot. And we all loved sampling
blue and green milk. I recommend downloading the
Play Disney Parks app before your visit. The included
Star Wars: Datapad makes your visit to the Black Spire Outpost even more amazing.
Hondo Ohnaka may even have some credits to share with you in the Datapad if you do a good job flying the
Millennium Falcon.
You’ve asked a good question about
Park Hopper tickets. My personal preference is to enjoy both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park each time we visit the Disneyland Resort. Your choice of purchasing Park Hoppers or not may depend on how many days you plan to visit and the types of attractions you want to enjoy. Frankly, there is plenty to fill a day in Disneyland Park alone. And if a visit to
Batuu is your main priority, a one-park ticket is probably adequate for a single-day visit. Gadget, from the Rescue Rangers, even has a fun little
roller coaster that your son would probably love.
If you are planning a multi-day visit, I do recommend the convenience of Park Hopper tickets. There is much to see and do for younger Mouseketeers at Disney California Adventure Park. There is a
dance party with friends from Disney Junior. Enjoy exploration and discovery at
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Meeting favorite
characters from Radiator Springs always brings a smile. And “
adventure is out there” at
Pixar Pier, where Jessie's Critter Carousel, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and
Toy Story Midway Mania! are fun for guests of all ages.
Have a magical time, Michele!
