I'm looking for accomodations for our family group of 15-20. I'd like to stay on the property or a partner property that has transportation to the park and the magic hours perk. What are your suggestions?

    Hiya Terry!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A few summers ago, I planned a vacation to Walt Disney World with 18 family members, and I thought that was a lot, chEARs to you for managing a party of 20!

The Resorts are my jam, and I think the first place to start planning is where you all stay! Disney Vacation Club has fantastic Villa accommodations that can handle the size of your party. Their 3-Bedroom Villas sleep up to 12, so two could hold your entire family. The great thing about the Villas is that the 1-Bedroom or larger have full-sized kitchens, as well as washer & dryers. Having a kitchen is a great way to help your dining budget at the 'World, and also an excellent way to plan and recap the day. Having a washer & dryer in the unit is also super helpful with that many people!

Some of my favorite Resorts for large parties are Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. The Villas are spacious (some of the largest on property), and the vibe of the Resorts is laid-back fun, which is the perfect formula when you have multiple ages. We spent last Winter Break at the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I loved "glamping," my husband loved the grill and the patio, the kiddos adored the bunk beds, and we all benefitted from two bathrooms!

The Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort are also fantastic alternatives. They offer similar amenities (microwaves, multiple bathrooms, etc.), and sleep up to six adults. The same thing goes for the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Each sleeps up to five adults and has a fully stocked kitchen.

Any of these options include the benefits of being a Resort Hotel Guest, including complimentary transportation to and from the airport via Disney's Magical Express, complimentary MagicBands, and early access to FastPass+ planning. The 60-day window will be super helpful when planning for your large party!

Terry, if you have any other questions, you know where to find us. We are all EARs!
