Disney Genie+ Service is a super helpful tool for guests on their vacations. Unfortunately, the Service cannot be purchased ahead of time and must be purchased on the day that the guest wants to go to the Theme Parks.
It’s really quick and easy to purchase, just sign into your
My Disney Experience Mobile app on the day you’re heading into the Theme Parks. Remember, you’ll want to have a
Disney Park Pass reservation for yourself and everyone in your party before you purchase the Service. Guests without a Theme Park reservation won’t be able to have the Service until that reservation to get into the Park is added.
Once you confirm everyone has their
Disney Park Pass for the day, on the home screen under “Disney Genie+ Service”, you’ll want to select the “Purchase” button. Next, scroll down to “Continue” and then you can follow the steps to purchase the Service. If you’re up after 12:00 a.m. on the day you’re going to the Parks, you can purchase it then. If not no worries, I normally set an alarm and purchase around 6:30 a.m. which gives me plenty of time to get ready or the next step.
Finally, keep in mind that at 7:00 a.m. on the day that you and your guests have the Service, you’re able to select your first
Lightning Lane. Once that Lightning Lane is used or two hours after you’ve reserved it (whichever is first), you’ll be able to select another! And because you’re staying at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you’ll also be able to purchase up to two
Individual Lightning Lanes at 7:00 a.m. as well.
