Hi ya, Aster!
Thank you so much for bringing your question to us here at
planDisney. I’ll be more than happy to help get you back and ready to
Return to a Land of Magic in no time!
Hakuna Matata, it’s completely fine that you missed the first date. On April 12, 2021 ticket sales began for California Residents so if you do not have tickets to visit the parks, you will want to go ahead and
purchase them. Once you have purchased tickets, you will then want to link them to your
Disney account so that you can
make your Theme Park Reservations. I know it seems like a lot all at once, but trust me it’s super simple and we are all here to help you along the way!
Now going back to Theme Park tickets, if you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, I do recommend starting by taking a look at the
Theme Park availability calendar, first. This is where you can see if there is availability to book your reservation before purchasing tickets. I do see availability in May, if you are planning to visit Disney California Adventure Park as your starting park. If you are wanting to visit both parks, I recommend purchasing a Park Hopper Ticket so that you can experience Disneyland Park during Park Hopping hours.
Aster, I do hope this helps clarify the need for both Theme Park tickets and a Theme Park Reservation. Please be sure to let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with as you continue to plan for this very exciting visit.
See ya real soon!
