    I'm too late to get Chef Mickey's reservations for our stay, which is over President's Day weekend. I'm hoping someone will cancel, and I can get their spot. Will one open spot show up on the web, or should I call? Are there any other secrets??

    Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

    CALL, CALL, CALL until you leave for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  If you still cannot secure a reservation, I would check with your resorts Concierge Desk upon arrival.  They will also be able to check for you.  I would continue checking every morning prior to leaving to the parks.   I have been lucky enough to just pop-in and ask if they can squeeze my family in.  I was lucky on two occasions, but I have also been turned away at times, too.  My best advice is to keep trying everyday by calling (407)WDW-DINE and checking on-line.  Do not give up once you arrive at your resort.  Just keep trying day after day.  You never know...it just may be a MAGICAL day for you!  I will send some Pixie Dust your way!
