Hi there Kaley! Welcome to planDisney. Your adventure on Disney Cruise Line is just around the river bend!
If you booked a
Port Adventure with Disney Cruise Line, you will receive the details of where and when to meet before you debark to head to Atlantis once you are onboard. You must be at the designated space by the time given to you to check in with the crew. If you did not book through Disney Cruise Line, you will be able to leave the ship once local port authorities clear the ship and the captain gives the "All Ashore." The approximate time should be listed on your reservation confirmation that would have been emailed to you. It will also be listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you connect to the
DCL-GUEST wireless network. In the past, this time has been between 8:00 am and 9:30 am, depending on the cruise itinerary. You cannot leave the ship earlier than the "All Ashore" time.
I have found that Guests will start lining up before the "All Ashore" time to be some of the first to leave the ship. There will be signs on where to go. Make sure to eat some breakfast before you leave the ship, though! Everyone will need their
Key to the World card or
DisneyBand+ to
debark the ship, even children. Adults also need to have a photo ID with them to debark. Having these on hand and ready to scan will help you have an efficient debarkation in
Nassau and any other Port of Call.
Kaley, I hope this helps you prepare for the good times ahead on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. If you have any other questions, come back to visit us at
planDisney.
Adventure is out there!
