I'm landing in Orlando and staying at a Disney resort starting on December 5th. Can I start making my Dineing reservations on October 5th?

Hello there, Frederick! Thanks for stopping by planDisney to chat about one of my favorite things - Disney dining!

I'm so glad that you are already thinking about those dining reservations, Frederick. Some of the best places to eat at Walt Disney Would fill up quickly so it's great to already have a plan. You are able to make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your Walt Disney World vacation. By my calculations, it looks like you'll be able to make your reservations Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Of course, you'll want to double my math on that but if you do a quick internet search like "60 days prior to December 5, 2021" it should turn up with the right answer. You can make your advanced dining reservations starting at 6:00 a.m. online or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time.

If you are looking for a dining recommendation, The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs is my very favorite place to eat right now. In fact, I've been known to make a whole weekend trip just because I was able to land a dinner reservation there. The restaurant is set on the lake and it is so beautiful to watch the sunset over Disney Springs from there. The menu offers something for even the pickiest of eaters. My current go-to order right now is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. It is out of this world good! The cocktail menu is fantastic and if there is any room left over for dessert, I recommend trying the key lime pie in a jar. It's light, refreshing and fantastic! Another place I am really enjoying dining at right now is Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. This is a character breakfast location at Disney's Riviera Resort. The views from the restaurant are just stunning and it's so fun having breakfast with Mickey and the gang. What I like about this restaurant is that even though you order an entree from the menu, it's actually all-you-care-to-enjoy. I typically get the breakfast quiche but I can't say no to a Mickey waffle and there I don't have to!

I hope you are able to secure all of the dining reservations you'd like for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
