Hi Kristen,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well this is happy news! If you are already connected with your family through the My Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience, they have selected your profile on the reservation, and you are sharing all plans, you should be able to see the reservation in My Plans. Occasionally, I have booked a reservation and the correct profile is not linked for a family member or friend. When this happens, I just find the reservation in My Plans and update the guests if that option is available. Also be sure to select the option to share all plans. You could also try linking the reservation with the confirmation number in My Disney Experience. Once you log into My Disney Experience online, click on My Plans, and then click on
Link Reservations and Purchases.
If you have an existing MagicBand, it may work. If it is more than a year old, I would have a backup. Once you check-in at the
Disney Collections Resort hotel, you could request a Key to the World card. Review this
info related to MagicBand and key card access. I also recommend that you set-up
Disney MagicMobile Service. Once I create Disney MagicMobile passes, I can use these from my mobile phone. Remember also that you can use the Unlock Door feature in
My Disney Experience to access your resort hotel room.
Kristen, I am sending a little extra pixie dust trusting that you get that reservation linked in My Disney Experience! Be sure to check your admission type -
theme park reservations are still required for some admission types. One final thought - we actually love
MagicBand+. If you do not yet have one, consider one. It's nice to be able to re-charge them prior to our visits!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
