George from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I'm Irish married and currently living in Australia... Myself and family want to buy the 14 day magic ticket for next year any problems... I do still own property in Ireland but would like to know if I would need that or not is being Irish enough??

Welcome to planDisney, George. I’m delighted to help plan your practically perfect adventure all the way from Australia!

It’s so exciting to be in the initial stages of your Disney holiday, with so many magical possibilities to choose from. I’m sure you and your family will make the most wonderful memories.

With a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, I hope to bring a little clarity to your question about those all-important park tickets. The 7-day and 14-day Magic Tickets add a little extra sparkle to a Disney trip, so I can see why you’re keen to book them for your family, George.

I hope you’re not too disheartened to hear that these 7-day and 14-day Magic Tickets are a UK & Ireland Exclusive and can only be purchased in those countries. In order to purchase these exclusive tickets, you need to be a UK & Ireland resident and have a UK & Ireland address as your billing address.

Cast Members go to infinity and beyond to help Guests, so you might like to phone the Walt Disney Travel Company to talk through your magical options.

While this may not be the answer you were hoping for, George, please don’t lose hope, as you may find some magical offers available to residents of Australia over at the Australian version of the Walt Disney World website. As mentioned on the website, I encourage you to speak with a local travel agent who will be happy to help you find the most magical travel options for your family.

One of my favourite parts of planning my pixie dusted adventure is choosing my home-away-from-home. Each Disney Resort Hotel I’ve stayed at has its own unique theming and magical atmosphere; you really are spoilt for choice! From the cosy coastal vibe of Caribbean Beach to the fun vibrant theming of the All-Star Resorts, there’s a resort to suit every personality and budget. I recommend taking a look at the resorts on the website and watching some of the Disney Parks resort videos to get a little more magical insight to help you make your decision.

planDisney will be here throughout your planning journey, George, so just keep swimming back to see us if you have any more questions along the way.

    Magic Awaits,

    Abi
