Well, just like Genie, it sounds like your family members ain't never had a friend like you! Sending a thoughtful (and delicious!) gift to your family's room is such a sweet way to add extra pixie dust to their magical vacation, and I'm definitely in the mood to help you, dude.
Since Florida law requires a photo ID of someone 21 or over to accept any alcohol deliveries, and the front desk is unable to accept alcohol deliveries on a guest's behalf, it does make surprising someone with a bottle of wine at their Disney Resort Hotel quite the challenge. While Floral and Gifts used to offer wine in some of their gift basket options, this is likely the reason it seems that Magical Floral and Gifts no longer offers wine to be delivered to the Resorts. I was just as bummed as you to hear this news, but let's chat about some alternative options.
If your heart is set on sending a bottle of wine, you could place an online order to be delivered from a local grocery delivery company to the Resort. I always use Target delivery, but there are several other services near Walt Disney World, such as Instacart and Garden Grocer. However, your family member would have to be present at the Resort to accept the delivery with a photo ID.
Another option is to send your family a
Disney Gift Card via email. Most of the Disney Resort Hotel merchandise and/or Quick-Service dining locations have wine for purchase, so sending a gift card with a message to enjoy a bottle of wine on you would be a lovely gesture.
