Lazy River at Typhoon Lagoon

    I’m interested in reserving the DVC moonlight magic event at Typhoon Lagoon on 7/11/24. What are the hours of the event? And what time does registration open on May 2?

    Welcome to planDisney! I love chatting with fellow Disney Vacation Club Members and assisting with vacation planning inquiries so let's hop to your question about Moonlight Magic. 

    Moonlight Magic is an exclusive event for Disney Vacation Club Members and their Guests. At a Moonlight Magic event, Guests have the opportunity to experience after-hours access, minimal wait times, enchanting character greets, captivating experience as well as delicious treats. Moonlight Magic is an unforgettable experience reserved exclusively for Guests with Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations on select event dates. My family had the chance to attend a Moonlight Magic Event at EPCOT and my daughters still talk about it!

    I’m so happy your reservation dates coincide with the date of the Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, guaranteed you’ll have a soaking wet time! I had a chat with Member Services today and they confirmed that eligible DVC Members will receive an email the day before registration opens. The email will contain a link that you must click to be directed to the registration site. Registration begins at 11 AM EST, so be sure to set an alarm! I also inquired about the event hours but they have not yet been released. Typically, DVC Members attending the event can enter the park before the event begins so be sure to keep an eye on the Moonlight Magic website for details. 

    Before registering for a Moonlight Magic, there are a few things to know. To ensure as many Members as possible can enjoy an event, there is a limit of one event date for each participating Park per Membership per calendar year. Each Member can register a maximum of 5 Guests per event or up to the number of Guests on the resort reservation (this is great for families staying in larger Villas). For those with young children, kids under 3 years of age do not require registration for the event.
