Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I always get mildly jealous of you Southern California residents when this special ticket offer becomes available - what a great deal to visit the Happiest Place on Earth!
The current
California Resident Ticket Offer is valid for 3 visits between January 1 through May 21, 2026. What's really nice about this promotion is that your visits can be used on nonconsecutive days, so you could visit once in January, once in March, and once in April for example (subject to theme park reservation availability).
One thing I like to note is that this offer is specifically for California residents within ZIP codes 90000-96199, and that proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID, is required for both purchase and admission.
There are no official announcements as to how long this deal will be available, but from what I've seen in the past, these promotions are typically open for most or all of the window that the tickets are valid to be used. However, my suggestion would be to purchase your ticket as soon as you're able, and then make your park reservations once your plans firm up more throughout the next few months.
This is a really wonderful time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort with the
Lunar New Year festival coming up from January 23-February 22, 2026. This will be followed by
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which runs from March 6-April 27, 2026. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration - make sure to check out the
Paint the Night Parade, which returns starting January 30, 2026. It's one of my family's absolute favorites.
