Fish on, Alan! I am happy to share that the
Walt Disney World Resort offers guided fishing excursions from multiple locations! My sons and I went on one of the fishing excursions a few years ago. We hooked into some of the biggest largemouth bass we’ve ever caught!
Fishing excursions can be booked for two or four hours. Your time on the water will include: an experienced fishing guide, rods, reels, tackle, bait (artificial or live), and assorted Coca-Cola beverages. Guests may pack their own food and beverages. Guests over 21 may pack alcoholic beverages to enjoy on the water.
You’ll be able to choose between two boats – a Sun Tracker pontoon (up to 5 Guests) or a Nitro bass fishing boat (up to 3 Guests). We booked the Sun Tracker, and it was perfect. There was enough room for four of us to cast comfortably.
Guided fishing excursions embark from multiple Walt Disney World Resort hotels, including Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, Caribbean Beach Resort, Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Old Key West, Polynesian Village Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Wilderness Lodge, and Yacht Club. You don’t have to be a Guest of these resorts to reserve a fishing excursion; however, if you are not staying at one of those resorts, you will need to travel to the resort offering the excursion.
Finally, reservations are highly recommended. You can book your Disney World fishing excursion by calling (407)-939-3474. Have a great day fishing the lakes of the
Walt Disney World Resort, Alan!
Dreams do come true!
