E komo mai Alaina,
Welcome to planDisney! Your question has me reminiscing about my family's recent trip to
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, I can hear the waves on the sand and picture the incredible sunsets on the Ko Olina lagoon - I can't wait to return!
I love how a trip to Aulani can be as busy or relaxing as you wish - there is something for everyone! For those looking for relaxing and pampering,
Laniwai - A Disney Spa is at the top of the list. Laniwai is home to the only
outdoor hydrotherapy garden found on the island of O‘ahu. Guests who have booked any full-service spa treatment are invited to arrive an hour before the appointment so they can enjoy the Kula Wai amenities. Currently, Guests can experience 6 rain-style showers, a cold water therapy plunge pool, soaking pools, heated whirlpool jet spas and a reflexology path that massages tired feet and lower legs. Just thinking about the features has me dreaming!
Tip #1: If you have a Disney Gift Card, great news, you can use it towards payment at Laniwai Spa. Gift Cards can also be used at various dining locations and shops throughout Aulani.
Tip #2: Visit the
Pau Hana Room - Community Hall at the beginning of your stay. Here, you can register for various activities such as ukulele lessons, Kāpala Ki'i - a t-shirt stamping activity,
Menehune Adventure Trail (my daughters insist on doing this one at night - there's some extra magic!), or even making your own Aulani-inspired Mickey Ears. Check the
DVC Member benefits on the DVC website for possible discounts.
Tip #3: Read the
Aulani ‘Iwa. It highlights the week’s events and activities so you can better plan your stay. This will be your go-to place for Character Meet details, fitness class schedules, times when Guests can feed the fish at
Rainbow Reef and more!
Alaina, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning for your upcoming Aulani stay. If you have any further questions, please visit
planDisney. We'd love to help!
Aloha,
Candace
