Hi there! I'm a HUGE Panel fan ;) A group of friends & I are planning on seeing YeHaa Bob soon. It says show starts at 8:30. How long is it? Do you HAVE to be there at the start or early to get a seat? Do you sit at tables (ie: what is environment)? TH

    Hi Kaylene!

YeHaa Bob puts on a great show at Port Orleans Riverside in the River Roost Lounge, which is located between Boatwright's Dining Hall and the front lobby.  He basically leads a great boogie-woogie sing-along in a series of sets.  The atmosphere is fun and energetic. It is perfect for guests who enjoy a good time and who don’t take themselves too seriously. For example, guests are encouraged to beat their chest and yell “Charge!” at the end of a bugle call which Bob does routinely throughout the night!  You can easily spend the evening there and be entertained the entire time; the last time I saw Bob Jackson perform I was there from about 9 pm to midnight.  It is also a family friendly environment and you will see some children there.

You sit at lounge tables and I do suggest getting there early if you want to get a table.  I typically tell guests to arrive about 15 to 30 minutes early for the first set (which starts at 8:30 as you wrote) to help your chances of getting a table; with a large group you probably should get there no later than 30 minutes before.  I have also found Fridays and Saturdays to be more crowded in general than the other nights that he is there. There is a bar at the River Roost and there are servers in the lounge that can bring you drinks throughout the night.  I have also seen guests bring in food from the nearby food court without any issues.

Bob is a real person and he doesn't have a backup; his schedule changes from time to time so I do suggest checking it before heading over to Port Orleans Riverside.  You can find his schedule on his independent website yehaabob.com.  Be sure to bring your camera when you go!!  Bob will also sign autographs and he usually has a CD or two to sell at the show!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
