Hi, I'm hoping they offer free dining this fall. In the meantime, I've gone ahead and reserved a room and am making ADRs. If I pay $10 to reserve all these table service meals, but then later do get the dining plan, when will the fees be refunded? Thx!

    Hi there, Cary!

I'm so excited to hear that you've already started booking your Advanced Dining Reservations for your fall trip to Walt Disney World! I sure hope that the Free Dining promotion is offered again this year as well! I'll keep my fingers crossed!

The only time you'll actually have to pay anything at the time of booking an Advanced Dining Reservation is for the Dinner Shows and locations like Cinderella's Royal Table where payment in full is required in order to book. There are many other locations that will require a credit card guarantee, but they won't actually put a charge on your card unless you fail to show up for your reservation or you fail to cancel within the cancellation policy for that specific restaurant. Be sure to read the cancellation policies for each restaurant you book as some policies are different depending on the location. The $10 fee you mentioned would only be charged to your credit card as a penalty for not following the cancellation policy.

I hope this clears things up for you, Cary! Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions we can assist with!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
