I'm hoping to go to Disney World sometime soon(no specifics, yet, but hopefully in July of next year) and I want to know which of these you would recommend- Animal Kingdom Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, or Contemporary Resort? Thank you!

    Hello Chloe,

So glad you stopped by for our recommendations. It's always a good idea to start your planning early so you have plenty of time to do research and make the informed decisions for you and your family.

Of those four choices, my favorite, hands down is Animal Kingdom Lodge! You will feel as if you have magically stepped out of Central Florida and smack dab right in the middle of Africa. The theming is phenomenal and the fact that you are so close to live animals roaming around in the Savanna at the resort. We had the pleasure of taking our oldest son to Walt Disney World for his first visit several years ago and staying there was one of his favorite parts of the whole vacation. We had a savanna view room and in the afternoons as we went back to rest and re-energize, we watched giraffes right outside our balcony. Not only is the atmosphere a huge plus, the dining is some of the best on property. Jiko-The Cooking Place is one of my top restaurants in regards to overall food, service, and surroundings. Boma is also a wonderful place to dine with its abundant buffet and authentic flavors.

I noticed that you also mentioned a couple of moderate resorts, which can definitely be a lighter load on your wallet. So, if price becomes a huge factor, then I would recommend Caribbean Beach Resort. Once again the theming is bright and cheerful and definitely gives an island and tropical flair. Old Port Royale, one of the pools there is loads of fun with its water slide and fort-like structure. I also like that you have the option of a beach and pool at this location, too! It is pretty centrally located and I've had several wonderful experiences there.

Have a magical time planning and let me know if I can help with any other questions you might have.
