Hi there Natalie, Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! How exciting that you're planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
As a family of 5, my husband and I are always looking for ways to save when we visit Walt Disney World Resort! After many years of visiting the parks and staying on property, I've found that saving money on Disney World parks and resorts can be achieved through various strategies and tips.
We almost always book a vacation package. A Disney World vacation package includes several components to help streamline your planning and ensure a magical experience. Included in your package are theme park tickets. Standard date-based theme park tickets require you to choose a start date at purchase. You may also select to visit one theme park per day or add an Park Hopper Option to visit multiple theme parks per day and/or a Water Park or other Walt Disney World fun. A Disney Resort Hotel stay is also included with your vacation package. You'll stay at a Disney resort hotel (Value, Moderate, Deluxe, Deluxe Villas) based on your preferences and budget. When you book, currently a $200 deposit is required and your vacation needs to be paid in full 30 days from arrival. We always book in advance to take advantage of making payments.
Another great tip is to regularly check the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on Disney's website for offers and promotions. Also consider your ticket options. Multi-Day Tickets - the more days you purchase, the lower the cost per day. Base Tickets - if you don’t plan to visit multiple parks in a single day, base tickets (one park per day) are cheaper than Park Hopper options.
Natalie, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
