Hi there, Christian! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! Let's dig a little deeper into your question so we can get your magic carpet on the right path to the magic!
It's great to see that you already know about the
theme park reservation system. I know this is still new for a lot of Guests making their way back to the
Disneyland Resort after the last few years. Reservations open up 120 days in advance, so my best guess with your situation is that you are looking for dates before they become available. A planner at heart, just like us panelists! We love to see it! These dates would show up in gray and then turn to blue at the 120-day mark. Right now, I can see on the
theme park reservation calendar that reservations can be made through December 10th, only the holly jolliest time of year in the parks!
If for some reason the actual calendar is not showing up for you during the
ticket purchase, that would be a technical glitch that is a bit beyond the powers of my magic wand. Other than typical internet troubleshooting techniques, such as turning your device off and on, trying another device, clearing your cache, etc, my best advice here would be to speak to a local travel agent or give our
Guest Services Ticket Team a call. They would be happy to help you!
While you are thinking about your trip, I highly recommend listening to the new
planDisney Podcast for some inspiration and insider tips! There are episodes on Resorts, fun things coming up for Halloween and the holidays, and even one dedicated to all things
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The best part? You can listen or watch them as they are all filmed in some magical locations, including INSIDE the
Millennium Falcon! Yes, INSIDE!
Christian, I know this likely didn't give you all the answers you were looking for, but I do hope it pointed you in a new direction. If you have any more questions ahead of your trip, you know where to find us here at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
