I’m hoping to buy a number of Lightening Lane passes all at once when our window opens to do that. I was wondering if it is possible for me to purchase multiple passes for different parks/dates etc on the same account from different devices all at once?

Welcome back to planDisney, Nadine. I’m so excited for your upcoming trip! You’re going to have a blast!

As you’ve likely discovered, Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass can be great ways to save time when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. With each, you’ll get access to a shorter wait at so many different attractions across the four theme parks. And once you use a Multi Pass selection, you can book another that’s available. With all the time you save, there will be plenty of time for snacking, shopping, and just taking in the incredible details of this truly amazing place.

Just like Sorcerer Mickey in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, having access to powerful magic is exciting, but casting too many spells at once can quickly lead to chaos. While the system may allow you to use different devices to purchase multiple passes for different dates, it is not recommended. Instead, if possible, have some other Guests connected to your reservation through your Family & Friends list help you out. Assign each person a day (or days) and when the clock strikes 7 a.m. EST, when you’re eligible to make your purchases, go for it! This way, you’ll be the masters, not the apprentices.

Otherwise, you can quickly make your selections on your device for one day, complete the process, and then go for the next day. In my experience, it typically takes no more than five minutes to book Lightning Lanes for each day, and then I move on. A little restraint and coordination will help you stay in control of the magic, rather than being swept up by it.

One more quick note for you: each Guest can only book Lightning Lane Multi Pass reservations in one park per day in advance. However, if your ticket has the Park Hopper Option, when you go to book your next Lightning Lane after using one on the day of your visit, you can select an eligible and available attraction in any of the four theme parks. Furthermore, each Guest can book up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes per day.

One last option is Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which will give you access to all of the Lightning Lanes in one park (including both Multi Pass and Single Pass selections) in a day without having to make reservations. That’s right, you’d be able to join the Lightning Lane queues at all of the eligible attractions in a single park at any time during that day. Now, that’s Sorcerer-level access!

Nadine, please reach out again with any other questions you may have. We’re here to help ensure your spells are smooth and your plans stay magical.

Here’s to thoughtful planning and a little enchantment,
    Matt
