Hi I'm hoping to book a stay at ssr as my family really love the idea of walking to and from downtown disney-is there a particular building to ask for? We are a family of 5 so would need 2brm villa

    Hi Moira:

My family has enjoyed staying at Saratoga Springs Resort on a couple of occasions. One of Saratoga Springs's best features is that parts of the Resort are within short walking distance to the restaurants, shops, and attractions in Downtown Disney. Request a two bedroom villa in the Congress Park section of the Resort to be close to Downtown Disney.

In addition to quick and easy access to Downtown Disney, being close to Downtown Disney also means you can take advantage of direct buses from Downtown Disney to other resorts. When we travel to Disney, my family often likes to eat at restaurants at other resorts. When staying at Saratoga Springs, we can save time and still use Disney's free transportation system with a quick walk to Downtown Disney to catch a direct bus to the resort destination without having to make a transfer.

Don't forget to take advantage of the wonderful Saratoga Springs Spa. Also, I find the Resort's sit-down restaurant, The Turf Club, to be a top-notch "undiscovered" gem of Disney dining.

    Enjoy your vacation.
