I'm hoping to book Port Orleans Riverside Royal rooms for early February, 2013. Are there ground floor Royal rooms? Did I read somewhere that you have to take a few stairs down to them; i.e., not stroller accessible? Dad is blind, so no stairs is best.

I was lucky enough to view one of these new Royal room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort, and it was definitely located on the ground floor. When you make your reservation, be sure to request a ground floor room, and give your reason. While nothing can be guaranteed, I am sure they will do all they can to assist with your request.
