Welcome to
planDisney, Virginia!
I have a single day
theme park ticket to
Walt Disney World in my own
My Disney Experience account that I was unable to use from April, so I completely understand your question about an extended expiration date. Checking on that is a breeze, so let's walk you through it.
First, the quickest way to check on that new expiration is to go into your
My Disney Experience mobile app, then click on the little "hamburger" icon (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner), and then select "Tickets and Passes". There, you'll be able to see the type of tickets you've purchased, who you assigned them to, and the new date on which they expire. Easy peasy.
At the bottom of that same screen, you'll see information regarding changing your tickets, too. There, you'll see "After expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price." This may give you a bit more flexibility when planning your next visit.
You can also see your ticket online in your My Disney Experience account on Walt Disney World's website. There, hover your cursor over the My Disney Experience tab (near the top right corner), and select "My Plans". On that next page, you'll see a tab for "Tickets & Memory Maker"; clicking on that will enable you to see your linked tickets there as well.
Another place to learn more about your ticket options can be found in the post
Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go. You'll see there, too, that you'll need a park reservation in the
Disney Park Pass system in addition to your valid theme park ticket in order to enter a park, so check park reservation availability as you plan your visit.
Be sure to send additional questions our way as you pick the perfect date to tour The Most Magical Place on Earth, Virginia. We love to help!
