    Hi Patrick,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  There isn't a more special place to celebrate a birthday than at Walt Disney World Resort!  Your son will certainly have a 6th birthday that he will never forget!

I would start by heading over to guest relations and picking up a special birthday button.  This button is complimentary and will give him some special attention throughout the theme parks with the cast members.  Also, if you are planning on dining at a Table Service location, be sure to inform the cast member when checking in that it is your son's birthday.  More often than not, they will acknowledge the celebration during the meal.  Treat your son to a makeover at The Pirates League, and then embark on the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.  Your son will have an evening that he will never forget!

For a special splurge, be sure to check out the Disney Floral & Gifts website; they offer some amazing options for in-room celebrations and other gifts that any 6 year old would love!

I hope you have a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort Patrick.  Please let me know if you have any more questions.  I would be happy to help.
